Volunteer Opportunities - Volunteer for a Parent Association activity and receive 1 point.
- Parent of the Year Committee: As a member of the committee, you will be directly involved in the selection process for the UCR Parent of the Year. Packets will be mailed to committee members including essays, rating sheets and an overall ranking sheet. The UCR Parent of the Year will be announced at the Parent Association Spring Meeting. - Student Recruitment Events: Help UCR recruit the best and brightest students!
The UCR Parents Association, UCR Alumni Association, and the UCR Office of Undergraduate Recruitment invite you to attend an information and orientation session for volunteers who would like to help UCR recruit high school seniors. These information sessions, led by UCR Undergraduate Recruitment staff, will give volunteers an overview of college fairs, UCR's participation at these events, volunteer duties, and what volunteers should expect at these events. In addition, the college fair schedule for the fall and a college fair manual will be distributed at these sessions. All volunteers representing UCR at fall college fairs will be accompanied by profes sional staff.
College Fair Information and Orientation Sessions (locations to be determined)
September 19, UCR campus, 11 am - 1 pm
September 22, Orange County, 6:30 pm - 8pm
September 24, San Mateo, 6:30 pm - 8 pm
September 26, Pasadena, 11 am - 1pm
